Entering the 2020 presidential race, Michael Bloomberg needed a brand that could appeal to both the left and right. The logo identity needed to be approachable and symbolize the mayor’s unique connection with both sides. The identity system was built from an iconic m2020 symbol. The system could adapt and expand to all media including social media branding, social post visual direction, and merch designs.
